Fiona Cutts Energy Healing

THE CLIENT:

Fiona Cutts is a Manchester-based Energy Healer, Reiki and EFT Practitioner.

THE BRIEF:

Fiona required a simple brochure website for the launch of her new Energy Healing practice. She wanted it to be easy to navigate and quick-loading. She preferred a plain background and pastel colours and liked the idea of natural images and serene colours to convey the fact that there is a spiritual dimension to her work.

MY ROLE: Web design and development.

MY DESIGN SOLUTION:

The idea of serenity and the natural world were my starting points. Fiona chose excellent images from istockphoto.com and the image of the pink lotus flower was my source of inspiration for the colour scheme. It is also used as a recurring motif throughout the site, in the testimonial page and sidebar boxes and the favicon. The result is a site that uses harmonious, pastel shades - green, pink, white, grey - and is soothing to the eye.
